  • About Weekends Are For Wine

How WAFW came to be and what's the vision.

With over two decades of diverse experience, my career journey has led me through various industries, each contributing to my skill set and expertise. What began in hospitality and leadership roles transitioned into a multifaceted career spanning education, entertainment, and now, the exciting world of wine and beer.

Inspired by my late mother's profound love for wine and travel, my aspiration to explore the realm of wine grew into a personal passion. It was further ignited during my experiences tasting beers and wines in Germany, where I marveled at the rich tapestry of flavors and traditions. In South Korea, I delved into the craft of making medicinal beer, deepening my appreciation for the artistry and cultural significance of alcoholic beverages. Closer to home, frequent visits to Texas Hill Country exposed me to the vibrant wine culture thriving in my own backyard.

I envision leveraging my expertise to become a wine concierge and traveling wine educator, offering workshops and experiences that blend education with enjoyment. Regardless of the path I tread, my goal remains unchanged—to craft unique and enriching experiences that leave a lasting impact.
